Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Bliss uses only the cookies it needs to work. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking cookies, and our analytics are cookieless.
Cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
Sign-in cookies (set by Clerk, e.g. __session, __client_uat) | Keep you signed in to your Bliss account and protect it from misuse. | Your session, or until you sign out |
bliss_rsvp_<site> | Remembers which guest replied from this browser, so coming back opens your own RSVP. Set only after a guest replies. | 180 days |
These are strictly necessary, so they don't need your consent.
Other browser storage
While you edit a site, Bliss keeps a backup copy of unsaved changes in your browser's local storage, so you don't lose work if a tab closes. It stays on your device and is cleared when you publish or discard those changes.
Third-party content on wedding sites
Some wedding sites show content from other services, which may set their own cookies under their own policies:
- Google Maps, when a couple adds a venue map.
- YouTube, when a couple adds a video. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which avoids cookies until you play the video.
- Google Fonts, used for site typography. This shares your IP address with Google but doesn't set cookies.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block sign-in cookies, you won't be able to sign in. If you clear the RSVP cookie, you can still reach your reply with the personal link the couple sent you.
