Nine years, four cities
Met at a friend’s birthday and spent the night talking about bread.
One year, one very small apartment, no regrets about either.
Chloe’s first restaurant opened, and Gabriel learned to wash dishes fast.
Engaged on a hot afternoon, halfway through a bottle of Vino Nobile.
Attire
Cocktail, on a hillside. Afternoons are hot and the terraces are gravel, so linen and block heels will serve you better than anything tailored. A layer for after dark is wise.

There is a pizza dinner on the Friday and a long lunch on the Sunday. Come to both if you can.
Pienza and Montepulciano both have plenty. Book early — July fills up by spring.
Very welcome. There is a pool, which will be supervised during dinner.
Nothing needed. There is a fund for the honeymoon if you would rather give something.
